5-Star Hotel IT Infrastructure Overhaul

A prestigious 400-room luxury hotel in Dubai was undergoing a major renovation and needed a complete IT infrastructure overhaul to match their world-class service standards. The existing network was unreliable, guest Wi-Fi was consistently rated poorly in reviews, and there was no integration between the property management system, in-room entertainment, and guest services.

We redesigned the entire IT backbone: a redundant Cisco core network with 10Gbps fibre interconnects, Aruba enterprise Wi-Fi covering all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house with seamless roaming, an IPTV system with on-demand content and hotel service integration, and smart room controls allowing guests to adjust lighting, temperature, and curtains from a bedside tablet or their own smartphone.

The infrastructure integrates with the hotel's PMS for automated check-in/check-out workflows, room status updates, and minibar billing. A centralised network operations centre (NOC) provides 24/7 monitoring with automated alerting, and our managed services team handles ongoing maintenance, firmware updates, and capacity management. Guest Wi-Fi satisfaction scores moved from 2.8 to 4.7 out of 5 within 2 months of launch.
