Project Overview

A popular UAE restaurant chain with 25 outlets across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah wanted to reduce their dependency on third-party delivery platforms (which charged 30%+ commission) and build a direct digital relationship with their customers. They needed a branded mobile app for ordering, delivery, table reservations, and a loyalty programme that would drive repeat visits.

We developed a polished iOS and Android app using Flutter for pixel-perfect UI consistency across platforms. The app features an intuitive menu browser with customisation options, real-time order tracking with push notifications, table reservation with QR-code check-in, and a gamified loyalty programme where customers earn points for every order and unlock tier-based rewards. Integration with their existing POS system ensures orders flow directly to the kitchen display system.

The delivery module uses Google Maps API for real-time driver tracking and estimated arrival times, while the backend automatically routes orders to the nearest outlet. A marketing dashboard enables the chain to send targeted push notifications, create time-limited promotions, and analyse customer ordering patterns. Within 6 months, 40% of all orders shifted from third-party platforms to the branded app.
